How the index is verified
aimusic.events tracks actionable AI-music opportunities and the events around them. Precision is never inferred: unknown stays unknown, TBA stays TBA, and changed dates remain visible in history.
Scope
We include contests, calls for papers and demos, hackathons, artist calls, registrations and other deadlines where AI and music are materially connected. A broad event appears only when its AI-music program is evidenced.
AI focus
| Dedicated | The full event or program is explicitly about AI and music. |
|---|---|
| Major track | AI music is a named, substantial track inside a broader event. |
| Multiple sessions | More than one confirmed AI-music session or activity. |
| Single session | One confirmed session, workshop or activation. |
| Adjacent | Relevant to the field, but AI music is not a central program claim. |
| Unverified | A plausible lead that still needs primary-source confirmation. |
Confidence
| High | Confirmed by an organizer, university or official program source. |
|---|---|
| Medium | A credible source supports the record, and any gap is stated on the page. |
| Low | A discovery lead only. It belongs on the watchlist, not as a confirmed claim. |
Freshness service levels
| Deadline within 14 days | Check daily or immediately after a user report. |
|---|---|
| Open opportunity | Check weekly. |
| Upcoming event | Check every 14 days, then weekly in the final month. |
| Watchlist | Check monthly or when a trigger source changes. |
| Held history | Frozen unless a correction is submitted. |
Corrections
User-reported errors are triaged within 48 hours; deadline errors are same-day. Every accepted change to a date, deadline, status or price creates a visible change record.
What we never sell
Verification, confidence and AI relevance are editorial facts. Sponsors may eventually buy clearly labelled placement, but never a stronger focus badge, higher confidence or a fresher verification stamp.
